Money Is Spiritual
-
It’s true: Money is a wonderful, spiritual energy. Therefore making money is a part of spiritual growth.
As Bob Proctor once said, “The paper you fold and put in your pocket is not money… money is an idea.”
Especially in societies where paper money is not backed by gold or other tangible assets, money is a concept. It’s an energy that we exchange for goods and services.
I realize there are people who will tell you that money is dirty, evil, etc. And I know many people who believe wealth and money are somehow not spiritual pursuits.
In part, such beliefs are residual ideas from the Dark Ages, when the preisthood punished people who learned to read with public execution. During this and other periods of history the religious ruling class worked hard to keep the masses ignorant and without power.
Please don’t confuse this archaic form of mass control as the authority on spiritual living.
Another reason people suggest money is bad, evil, and so forth is simple self-sabotage. Many people have self-worth issues, and it’s difficult for them to see themselves with plenty of money and comfort; as a result they retire emotionally to the thought that money equals greed and they’d rather just be a “regular” person and not worry about having too much money.
Please don’t allow yourself to ahve and be less than what you deserve. Money, and lots of it, is a beautiful thing.
Money allows you to relax and feel at ease, knowing your family will have plenty to eat and a roof over their heads. Money allows you to choose the direction your life will follow, rather than being tossed and pushed around by others.
With money, you can invest in the business or livelihood that is right for you. This allows you to have a much more fulfilling and meaningful life than if you were forced to work a job you hate.
You can use money to help others. Hospitals, churches, soup kitchens, cancer research labs, animal shelters, and special education programs are all built with money. If you choose to be dirt poor for your entire life you’ll be able to help very few people.
It’s true that money isn’t everything. But in our society it is a very important element of happiness and self-expression.
It’s also true that a few dark organizations may have been involved in the creation of the modern banking system. But we (the human race) do not have to allow ourselves to be manipulated by the greedy or intimidated by the power-hungry; in fact all around the world there is much evidence that people are using the money system to do great works and create wonderful things to further our species and improve our world.
Abundance,or having more than enough, is something you are entitled to. Prosperity, or a continual flow of health, wealth, and happiness, is a worthy cause.
Money is spiritual. Money is wonderful.
And there is everything right about your wanting to have more than enough money to do everything you desire and help all the people you want to help!

I have mixed emotions about the secret. It has caused a great emotional upheaval in my life. I didn’t realize how negative my thinking was until I started looking into it.
In all honesty, I have to admit I now see I am living in a world of my own creation. Trying to reverse that life time of thinking habits is a challenge.

That’s awesome Allen. This kind of upheaval is,, in my opinion, a wonderful experience.
It may feel uncomfortable right now but this means you are on the path to changing your life for the better. Believe me I know about bad thinking…. I used to be the worst for this, always blaming others for my problems and lashing out at a world that I felt owed me something.
It’s great that you are at the start of a new journey.

Congratulations! I know it probably doesn’t feel like this would be the right term for what is going on, but believe me, it DOES get easier – a LOT easier!
The more in tune you become with your Self, the less these outer situations will affect you – I promise. That is the beauty of honestly knowing who and what you are! Not only that, but if you refuse to beat up on yourself during this process and consciously practice acceptance (of both you and your situation), you will find that it ends rather quickly, and that there will be fewer of these major upheavals as you move into your future.
Its not that there won’t be challenges, it is simply that you will be handling them from a place of acceptance and stability rather than being seemingly blind-sided and tossed about in your own life.
Two hints:
Practice allowing things to happen in their own time, rather than pushing for outcomes or fighting the process – the more allowing you do, the easier the transition.
Promise yourself that you will look for any and every excuse for why what is happening could be a good thing in your life, rather than a problem. The more excuses you can come up with for joy, the quicker you will find it!
This could take some effort and practice in the beginning, but you will find that the more you practice it now, the less you will need to later – it will become an unconscious habit very quickly.
Love and Blessings -
Sue

money and lots of it is a beautiful thing- should be a mantra. when you have money you have the power to change your life and the lives of others for the better. how many times have i seen the homeless on the streets sleeping in cardboard boxes. should i be thankful for the little i have or should i thank the universe and ask for much, much more so i could fund a religious order or charitible organization whose mission it is to get the poor off the streets and into more congenial living conditions . it is said that money makes the world go around. without it the world would slowly stop spinning and then we’d all fall off.

I am in tune with myself. I practice a lot of what is here. However, I would like to know how to let go, and allow things to happen. I also find it confusing that I need to hold a thought but let it go (allow it) in order to let it manifest.

Anil it can indeed be confusing to, as you say, “hold a thought but let it go”. There are many ways to look at and discuss this concept, but here is a simple perspective that may help:
Do your visualizations and affirmations about having more money, see and believe the reality of your wealth as if you were living it right now. Enjoy this exercise for a few minutes each morning, and then relax and go into your day feeling good.
To let go is simply to relax and learn to trust that life will bring you what you want.
It’s the most difficult thing to learn and you can’t rush it. If you continue to practice right thinking and belief in yourself, and most importantly if you practice believing that life is on your side, you will develop the ability to trust and let go.
Keep reading and practicing and know that you are in the wonderful process of growth.

I never thought of money as spiritual. To me it is something we use to make life easier and better. It is something that help us to express and manifest our material needs and wants in life. I didn’t actually put much importance on money before, because to me money is not everything. But when I started to see the needs of others and the way I could help them in terms of money, my perspective of money changed. Still, I do not worry about money until my husband started worrying. I felt in my heart of hearts that money is always there. We never go without since I started thanking God for his provision 18 yrs ago. It is already a habit for me to thank God for all his blessings, and I refuse to worry about money.

I believe that money is indeed spiritual since the money itself is nothing more than a piece of paper. The real intents and purposes of money comes into our deepest intentions we place into it. When we truly share our services coupled with the values attached to it, it becomes and hastens to have it. Wealth is more than money but money is part and integral of what wealth is. We always say money is spiritual since it comes to us or is attracted to us if we are in the right spirits – frugal, full of integrity in our business dealings, industrious, diversifies our investments, paying our own selves first, time conscious and philanthropic. Above all, we must know how to tithe since it is the spiritual belief that everything created in this earth belongs to God and money is part of it that is why we have to share it to Him. Tithing money, is giving money to the foothold of Christ who was nailed in the cross and we have to tithe God since if we do not, others will tithe us anyway. The spirit of money lies in providing service to others with values, leveraging other people’s talents, goods and services, acquiring our needs and sharing it to God and the destitute.
