A New Beginning
-
I’ve always loved the New Year holiday because it represents a new beginning.
But the truth is you don’t need special permission from the calendar to make a new start. Each new moment contains infinite possibility, certainly including the chance to renew yourself physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.
In other words: You can choose any moment to completely release your past, embrace the now, and be thrilled about a wonderful new future.
The process of rebirth and regeneration is an exciting part of the universal process. Every ancient philosophy and religion tells us there is a time for being born again, starting over, and renewing the spirit.
I believe it’s great practice to do this daily. But every now and then it can be helpful to approach the process of renewal on a grander scale.
For this reason special ceremonies and meditations can be extremely helpful. The physical act of honoring our heart’s desire to begin again greatly strengthens our resolve and our faith in self.
The start of a new year is an ideal time to focus your intentions and embrace new opportunity.
Whether you will be eating the traditional black-eyed peas on January 1st to usher in a year of good fortune, performing a complete Yagyas, praying with your family, burning a special candle, or simply announcing aloud that you are glad to welcome 2009 and all the miracles it holds…
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND MAY YOUR NEW BEGINNING BRING ALL THE JOY AND PROSPERITY YOU DESERVE!
